Alright, this has happened twice to me, I tried salvaging a sword for the parts, yet it giave me "This Item Cannot be Salvaged"

My friend tried to salvage the rune from his armor, yet the same thing happened and he'd never had a problem until now.

Why can't these things be salvaged? He had salvaged the rune from armor he had before but now he can't seem to, whats the matter? Is this a bug, or what?

This generally only happens to quest items and starter items. Was the rune perchance applied to his starter armor?

No, like I said, he already salvaged it from his former armor, this was annoying... and I had a Fiery Wingblade Sword that wouldnt' let me do that either...

i heard collector armor cannot be salvaged, so if you put rune in those, you can't get them back

quest items or starter items...

if you can not salvage them, you should not be able to upgrade them

you can sell the quest item, so why can't you salvage it?

starter items... they should be completely eliminated from the game.

you know, get your first weapon with your bare fists!

I'm not sure where my Fierywingblade Sword came from but it coudln't be either
